Mission Statement for Women in Networking

This organization’s purpose is to:

Provide a support system for each other.

Share in the successes, challenges, and accomplishments of others.

Provide a networking foundation where referrals are exchanged.

Build business relationships that foster referrals.

Encourage the growth of the group by inviting other women professionals to join the group who have a mutual interest in growing their business. Limit of one representative per profession, i.e., one Realtor, one Lender, one CPA, etc.

Have fun, be enthusiastic, demonstrate a positive attitude, be ethical and sincere, and enjoy our common thread of business building.

Logistics:

Lunch meetings are held monthly on the second Thursday from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Hamlet Restaurant in Pasadena. Lunch is considered “no-host” thus, each participant will pay for their own meal plus tip. Arrangements are being made to pre-order and pre-pay for these lunches – web site to be announced.

Reminder e-mails will be sent one week prior to each meeting. Please RSVP as a reply to the reminder e-mail. If a member misses 3 meetings in a year without notifying the Chairperson with a reasonable excuse, a letter will be sent asking them to provide a replacement person who is willing to join the group and be an active participant.

Members will participate in a drawing each month to determine two presenters for the next month’s meeting. These presentations should include interesting information about you and your business, what kind of referrals you are looking for, and should last no more than 10 minutes. Handouts are welcome. Each presenter should bring a gift or gift certificate with a value up to $20 for a drawing. Be sure to include your business card.
